What's better than winning a tub of Golden Popcorn at the Movie Awards? Getting our vote for best looks of the night, of course. So put on your fashion thinking caps and check out which actresses' closets we're just dying to raid.

Malin Akerman: The actress must've taken cues from her "Watchmen" alter ego, Laurie, because, man, was she kicking major butt on the red carpet! Dazzling in a crisp, white, fitted Dolce & Gabbana suit, a super-sleek updo and a metallic gray corset, Akerman looked like the sophisticated starlet we always knew she was. Plus, she knows how to accessorize without overdoing it: That major blue rock on her right hand added the perfect pop of color. Let's just hope she's carrying some stain remover with her, you know, just in case any of those crazy attendees (paging Will Ferrell!) spill anything on her immaculate outfit. That would be tragic.

Miley Cyrus: The teen queen has often fluctuated between styles, with some of her past red-carpet looks either bordering on too sophisticated or too young. At the Movie Awards, in an understated nude Moschino dress paired with cream-colored heels, the "Hannah Montana" star found the best of both worlds. The form-fitting silhouette, cowl-neck halter and fresh makeup added a dash of class, making her look streamlined. Her chunky silver accessories and turquoise nail polish, however, were totally fun and age-appropriate. Same can be said for the origami-trimmed back, which added some flair.

Ashley Greene: Old Hollywood glamour sashayed onto the scene when this "Twilight" star made her entrance. Much like her fellow best-look cohort Malin Akerman, Greene also seemed to channel her big-screen identity Alice Cullen with a style that was so put together, it was practically supernatural. OK, maybe we're going a little far, but in her floral-print sheath, paired with purple platforms and a neon clutch, the actress looked like she came straight out of the 1940s. Special shout-out to her hair and makeup people for giving her adorable pin-curled hair and perfectly pouty red lips.

Sienna Miller: OK, so she arrived with some pretty smokin' arm candy (ahem, her "G.I. Joe" co-star Channing Tatum), but Miller was also looking smokin' herself in a sexy, backless, emerald-green dress. She's obviously tuned into fashion because the Swarovski-encrusted frock was from — wait for it — her own label, Twenty8Twelve. When she has graced red carpets in the past, the bohemian actress has often preferred a simple, carefree style. But she managed to bring flirty elegance to the awards show and made it look effortless. If only it was that easy for the rest of us.

Leighton Meester: Quick, someone alert "Gossip Girl"! Blair Waldorf has been replaced by a look-alike in a dress Blair would — gasp! — never dare wear. In all seriousness, we loved seeing Meester shed her token headbands and über-preppy uniform to show off her more mature, provocative side. Her sheer Emilio de la Morena dress, Brian Atwood purple suede booties and silver cuff were complemented by an updo and sultry, smoky eyes. If Chuck Bass could see her now!

'Britain's Got Talent' runner-up was reportedly admitted to a clinic following Saturday night's finale.

Following a tumultuous week in which some doubted whether she would even make it to Saturday night's finale due to the pressures of instant fame, "Britain's Got Talent" runner-up Susan Boyle was reportedly admitted to a mental-health clinic after suffering an "emotional breakdown."

The British tabloid the Daily Mail reported on Sunday (May 31) that Boyle was admitted to the Priory Clinic — a mental-health hospital — after suffering from exhaustion in the wake of her second-place finish on the show. The newspaper claimed that police were summoned to the singer's hotel and she was assessed under the Mental Health Act following what was described as a breakdown after her surprise second-place finish behind dance troupe Diversity.

BBC News reported Sunday that Scotland Yard said that police were called to a London hotel on Sunday, with doctors assessing a woman under the Mental Health Act. That woman was taken voluntarily by ambulance to a clinic, they said, according to the report. At the request of doctors, police accompanied the ambulance.

The Priory Clinic told the BBC: "We can neither confirm nor deny the reports."

"BGT" judge and Boyle advocate Piers Morgan said a runner-up finish was probably the best thing that could have happened to Boyle, given the intense strain of going from complete anonymity to world fame in just six weeks. He also said a win would have "just carried on the mayhem" for the 48-year-old Scottish woman.

According to the Mail, on Sunday, show aides called police to say Boyle was "acting strangely" in her London hotel room and rival tabloid The Sun added that paramedics were called to help the "spaced out" star through the lobby and into a waiting ambulance around 6 p.m.; she is reported to have gone voluntarily. Show producers reportedly said Boyle was "exhausted and emotionally drained."

"Following Saturday night's show, Susan is exhausted and emotionally drained. She has been seen by her private GP who supports her decision to take a few days out for rest and recovery," read a statement from one of the show's producers.

Earlier in the week, Boyle got into a shouting match with two reporters who were reportedly harassing her in the lobby of her London hotel.

MTV News could not verify the hospitalization reports at press time.

Capping a night of vampire domination at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, the fan favorite "Twilight" took home the win for Best Movie, bringing the film's total Golden Popcorn haul to an impressive five.

At the Gibson Amphitheatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, it was a night that stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart did not get much time to relax in their seats, taking the stage for individual wins for Best Female Performance and Breakthrough Performance Male, as well as a shared win for Best Kiss. Pattinson also triumphed in the Best Fight category for his battle with co-star Cam Gigandet. And along with co-star Taylor Lautner, Pattinson and Stewart presented an exclusive, never-before-seen trailer from their upcoming "Twilight" sequel, "New Moon."

When presenters Denzel Washington and his recent high school graduate daughter announced that "Twilight" had won Best Movie, the three actors, plus director Catherine Hardwicke and many others involved in the picture, took to the stage to accept the award. The audience, of course, went wild with applause.

Speaking on everyone's behalf after the crowd began to quiet, Hardwicke thanked studio Summit Entertainment, "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer and the "amazing, super passionate fans," She then uttered an enthusiastic, "Woooo!"

Before anyone else could speak, Andy Samberg closed the show. But by that point, Pattinson, Stewart, Lautner and Gigandet had all had a chance to take the mic and address their fans. And judging by the ferocious applause from the audience, their fans were nothing but grateful.

'Twilight' Stars pretended to re-enact the famed smooch on the Movie Awards stage.

If Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart didn't win the 2009 MTV Movie Award for Best Kiss, the universe might have ripped in half. Of all the categories in which "Twilight" was nominated this year, the one that brought vampire Edward Cullen and his high school love Bella Swan into a lip-locking embrace seemed like a surefire win.

And that's exactly what happened at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday night. Beating out competitors like the lovebirds from "Slumdog Millionaire" and "High School Musical 3," Pattinson and Stewart garnered the Golden Popcorn statue and took the stage together.

Pattinson leaned into the mic and announced that he had to take the gum out of his mouth. OME — were these two about to re-enact their big screen kiss for the MTV viewers? It wouldn't have been the first time. In 2007, Will Ferrell and Sacha Baron Cohen made out passionately onstage. Could it be happening again?

Pattinson and Stewart stared at each other, steeling themselves for a kiss. He moved in, she moved in. They closed their eyes. They touched noses. And then ... Stewart turned to the mic and declared, "Thank you so much!"

OK, so give the "Twilight" duo credit for being pretty darn good actors. Disappointing? Sure. Funny? You bet. At least they won a richly deserved honor. And we'll all have a chance to see Edward and Bella suck face a lot more this fall, when the second film in Stephenie Meyer's vampire franchise, "New Moon," hit theaters.

Movie Awards Fashion: Megan Fox, Paris Hilton Get Trendy On The Red Carpet

Biggest trends of the night include leather, sequins and gladiator heels.
By Lindsay Soll

The glitterati gathered at the Gibson Amphitheatre to celebrate the past year in cinema at this year's MTV Movie Awards. But, more importantly, they strutted their stuff down the red carpet in chic (or, in some cases, totally chill) outfits.

The sun might have been beating down on the carpet, but that wasn't the only thing that kept celebrities looking hot, hot, hot — it was also their very unique style. Still, however creative the stars got with their looks (hey, Chris Isaac, way to bring back the dog-as-accessory fad with your adorable white puppy!), there were a few standout trends that caught our attention. And no, one of them is not leopard-print leotards, though we do give major props to Brüno for such a wild choice.

(Follow all the red-carpet fashion on our Movie Awards fashion live blog.)

Bringing Back the '80s
Grab your crimping irons and scrunchies, folks, because we're taking a trip back to the totally tubular decade. The '80s were first ushered onto the red carpet with Ashley Greene's neon-yellow clutch and continued with the entrance of Soulja Boy Tell'em, who sported a khaki cardigan with hot-pink piping and a white T-shirt with a neon-colored graphic. Many A-list femmes rocked the trend, including Sienna Miller in a long-sleeved sequined frock with what looked to be shoulder pads (though maybe it was just the cut of the fabric). Lauren Conrad said bye to "The Hills" in a flouncy black-and-red dress that included a tiered, voluminous skirt that so could've made a cameo at the prom in "Pretty in Pink." Also invited to that prom: Conrad's pal, Stephanie Pratt, who showed off layers with her Soltani gown, and Lil Mama, who wore a bold turquoise dress, satin magenta clutch and vibrant yellow stilettos.

Sequins and Beads
There was no doubt that the ladies were going to glow on the carpet, and this year, they sparkled with delicately adorned dresses and accessories. Among the twinkling stars were Sienna Miller in a green mini, Nickelodeon darlings Keke Palmer and Miranda Cosgrove, and Audrina Patridge. Paris Hilton went a bit more subtle with a glittering silver purse and metallic embellishment on her peach dress.

One Shoulder
A few of the women put their best shoulder forward with one-strap dresses. "Hills After Show" and Movie Awards red-carpet host Jessi Cruickshank started off the trend in a mustard-yellow number. "America's Next Top Model" champ CariDee English continued it a hot-pink and orange bias-cut dress. So did Audrina, who seems to be nailing just about every trend on our list so far. Finally, Rumer Willis capped it off with a geometric-print emerald-green mini.

Leather
It's only one day away from June, but the stars still preferred to keep their favorite leather looks going just for the Movie Awards. Ashley Tisdale selected a deep-purple mini leather dress that was cinched with a black leather belt. Cullen daddy Peter Facinelli, Carter Jenkins and "Star Trek" stars Clifton Collins Jr. and Zachary Quinto all rocked leather too.

Gladiator Heels
While some of the girls were rockin' out to the rad '80s, others were stepping into ancient Rome with super-strappy gladiator heels. "Transformers" vixen Megan Fox towered in black stilettos that included six straps. Kristen Bell followed suit with black heels that showed off a few silver grommets. Stephanie Pratt also kicked it into high gear with tiered black sandals, as did Ashley Tisdale in wedges. An honorable mention in the shoe category also goes to booties, which were favored by Leighton Meester, Cameron Diaz, Catherine Hardwicke and, if you want to get really technical, Brüno!

'Twilight' fans get their first glimpse of Edward's departure, Jacob's wolf form and more.

The wait is over. The "New Moon" trailer has just debuted on the MTV Movie Awards telecast, and it's got tons of buzzworthy stuff for Stephenie Meyer fans to chew over.

Forget about birthdays, graduations and all that overrated holiday stuff; in the eyes of Twilighters worldwide, today is one of the most important days of the year. Naturally, MTV is celebrating this momentous movie moment with one of our patented shot-by-shot breakdowns. Read along, click play — and repeat. And while you're at it, turn on your video cameras and upload your reaction to YouRHere.MTV.com.

Shot 1: A nice aerial view of the coast, over La Push beach. Pretty enough to rival any of Catherine Hardwicke's beautiful outdoor shots from the first film.

Shot 2: Bella's iconic truck pulls up in front of Charlie's house.

Shot 3: Bella looks into Edward's eyes: "It's my birthday. Can I ask you something?"

Shot 4: A close-up of Kristen Stewart: "Kiss me." How awesome is that arched eyebrow? Better watch out, Dwayne Johnson; KStew is muscling in on your territory!

Shot 5: Edward leans in. Look out, ladies!

Shot 6: Bella drops the bomb: "I love you." Is this next year's Best Kiss nominee?

Shot 7: With the stakes substantially raised, here comes the stuff you didn't see in our 15-second preview of the trailer. A contemplative Edward explains: "You're my only reason to stay ... alive. If that's what I am."

Shot 8: Here's the moment we've all been waiting for: the birthday scene! Alice (Ashley Greene) leads Bella down the stairs of the Cullen home, exclaiming, "It's time! It's time!" Wow, Dr. Cullen must be bringing in some serious doctor cash to afford all those candles!

Shot 9: We can see returning favorites Carlisle (Peter Facinelli), Emmett (Kellan Lutz), Rosalie (Nikki Reed) and Esme (Elizabeth Reaser) crowd around Bella to give her hugs and kisses. Alice stands in the background, snapping photos. Jasper (Jackson Rathbone) also stands at a distance, for a far different reason. "Happy birthday, Bella!" Esme exclaims. "Let's open your presents!"

Shot 10: "There's a cake too." Is there ever! Whoever made that thing needs to get themselves on that "Ace of Cakes" show, stat.

"New Moon" Trailer Freeze Frames

Shot 11: "Alice, that cake could feed 50!" Bella says. "You guys don't even eat." Take note of Jasper's hair in the background, as well as Rosalie's curls. Both look so much better than in the first movie, don't you think?

Shot 12: Alice hands over an innocent-seeming gift. Look out, Bella!

Shot 13: Unlucky number 13 brings us a pivotal moment in Stephenie Meyer's "Twilight" universe. As she goes to open her gift, Bella slices open her finger, drawing blood.

Shot 14: The klutzy Bella throws down her gift, raises her finger and utters three words you do not want to say around vampires: "Ow, paper cut."

Shot 15: A few drops of blood fall onto the Cullen's floor, all over their nice Berber carpet!

Shot 16: And this is why you don't want to bleed around the Cullens. Springing to life for the first time in the series, we finally see why struggling-vegetarian Jasper has kept his distance from Bella. He runs in super-slo-mo toward the camera.

Shot 17: Edward looks up to see his bloodthirsty brother approaching, as a look of fear washes across his face. Bella doesn't even have time to notice.

Shot 18: With his superhuman speed, Edward shoves Bella out of the way, into the table.

Shot 19: Edward shoves Jasper toward the other end of the room, sending him flying through the air and crashing down into a piano. Wow, home-furnishing salesmen in Forks are going to make a bundle after this party!

Shot 20: Bella looks up in horror; Edward seems like he's about to cry. "What happened with Jasper was nothing," she insists.

Shot 21: Back in the woods, Edward lays down the law. "[It was] nothing compared to what could have happened. I promise to never put you through anything like this again."

Shot 22: Bella looks on at an anguished Edward. "This is the last time you'll ever see me," he says. Take a look at RPattz's face — damn, that's some acting!

Shot 23: Edward gives Bella one last kiss on the forehead ... and then he's gone.

Shot 24: Realizing her predicament, Bella is alone in the woods. She lies down on the ground, clutching the dirt, breathing heavily.

Shot 25: Edi Gathegi in the house! "How much could you mean to him if he left you here?" the vampire Laurent asks, his red eyes ablaze much more effectively than how we saw the vamps in the last movie. "Unprotected." Remember how Laurent was all conflicted and happy to help the Cullens in the first film? Yeah, he ain't doing that anymore.

Shot 26: As Bella stands in a clearing, Laurent circles her like a dog eyeballing a chew toy. "But I can't help myself. You are so ... mouth-watering!" I can already imagine that catchphrase on a million T-shirts.

Shot 27: As Laurent caresses her hair, Bella gets ready to become lunch. Keep in mind that at this point in the film, both she and Edward (who is far, far away) are so despondent that they're almost suicidal.

Shot 28: Whoa, what's Fabio doing in this movie? No, wait — it's none other than Taylor Lautner, the little Jacob from the first film showing off his newly acquired 30 pounds of muscle.

Shot 29: The newly jacked Jacob springs into action as Laurent raises his hands to Bella. When we interviewed Gathegi recently, he told us that this encounter with workout buddy Lautner was his favorite "New Moon" scene. Note that although Bella is in danger, it appears as though Jacob took the time to put his shirt back on before coming to her rescue. Maybe he burns easily, and the sun is a bit strong.

Shot 30: The anticipation builds as Laurent hesitates and Bella takes off.

Shot 31: Bella runs toward Jacob, screaming what sounds like, "Jake! Run!" But she doesn't know that the money shot is coming, and sure enough, we get our first glimpse of Jacob in all his shape-shifting glory. Turning into a wolf, he leaps over Bella and in front of Laurent. Check out the shreds of clothing, falling to the ground around him. Coolness.

Shot 32: As Jacob lets out a ferocious roar, the title card washes across the screen: "The Twilight Saga: New Moon." You may now proceed with your "OME" shrieks.

Brüno Lands On Eminem During Awkward MTV Movie Awards Moment

Em seemed displeased at his close view of Brüno's lower half.

If the 2009 MTV Movie Awards had an award for Most Outrageous Presenter, it would surely go to Brüno, who surprised an unamused Eminem with a front-row view of his manhood.

When it was his turn to present the Golden Popcorn statue for Best Male Performance, Brüno, the gay Austrian fashion reporter, descended via wires from the rafters dressed as some sort of S&M angel — if an angel would be wearing oversized wings, a white gladiator's costume and a jockstrap — and introduced himself in German, "Ich bin Brüno." He then appeared to get caught up in his suspension wires, flipping upside down and writhing in apparent pain before asking to be lowered to the floor.

His request was quickly granted and he crashed to the ground — upside-down and directly on top of Eminem, wrapping his legs around the rapper's head, exposing his bare buttocks within inches of Em's face. "Eminem, nice to meet you," said Brüno.

Eminem, who had just returned to his seat after performing a medley of two tracks from his new album, Relapse, was not pleased. "Are you serious?" he said, uttering an expletive and demanding that his bodyguards get Brüno off of him.

A minor melee ensued as Brüno continued to dangle above Em and Em's protectors tried in vain to remove a winged Brüno from their row of seats.

"Hey, don't touch me guys!" cried the Austrian. "I've already got a boyfriend. Hey guys, let's continue this in my hotel room!"

As Em left his seat, Brüno asked, "Is the real Slim Shady about to stand up?"

Stand up he did. He then proceeded to leave the auditorium as cameras followed his exit.

Meanwhile, Brüno was still suspended haphazardly above the crowd, yet still managed to present the Best Male Performance award. "The winner is Zac Efron for 'High School Musical,' " he said.

A nonplussed-looking Efron had a tough act to follow — "That was really weird!," he said — but he was gracious in his thanks for his award, singling out MTV and "the most amazing fans in the world," as well as his "HSM" castmates.

The musical performances at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards got off to an energetic start as Eminem took the stage to perform a medley of two songs from his brand-new album, Relapse.

Capping off a stirring comeback five years after his last record, Em took the stage to perform his first two singles off the new album, "We Made You" and "Crack a Bottle."

Dressed in jeans, white sneakers, white hoodie, vest and cap, the rapper stepped down the stage's staircase and pumped his fist as he launched into "We Made You," telling the crowd he was "back by popular demand." Staying behind Em on the steps throughout the performance was a big band that included drums, sax, trumpet and trombone. The crowdmembers immediately came to their feet and it seemed as if Slim Shady had never been away at all.

For the next song, he announced to the crowd that this was "the moment you've all been waiting for," presenting a vigorous version of "Crack a Bottle." Em stalked around the stage, slapping hands with eager audience members as digital lyrics flashed on and off on the steps behind him.

As the second track came to a close, the rapper said thank you, flashed the peace sign and headed away, surely leaving the crowd hoping he won't be gone for long this time around.

According to several online reports, Jennifer Hudson is several months' pregnant and held a baby shower in Chicago over the weekend. Rumors of the Oscar-and-Grammy-winning singer/actress's pregnancy have been circulating for months but have been denied by her reps. The shower was reportedly held on Saturday at a relative's home.

"It was a baby shower, a quiet gathering of friends and mostly family," singer/ actress Felicia Fields, a longtime Hudson friend, reportedly told the Chicago Tribune. "They're really trying to keep it kind of quiet."

Hudson is engaged to former reality-TV star David Otunga, who is pursuing a pro-wrestling career. The pair have not publicized their wedding date.

"It was a nice time that we had," Fields said of the shower, but declined to reveal whether Hudson received blue or pink gifts, which would reveal the baby's sex. "They don't know [the gender]. More yellow [gifts]," Fields reportedly told the Tribune.

Hudson recently postponed several dates of her tour with Robin Thicke, claiming strained vocal cords.

An "American Idol" veteran, Hudson returned to the show in mid-April, and host Ryan Seacrest asked Hudson about her engagement to Otunga. Inquiring about when the wedding will be, Hudson demurred, "It's a secret, I can't tell nobody." After Seacrest asked her to whisper it in his ear, she leaned in and joked quietly, "Ryan, they'll hear it if I tell you."
